succotash
Definition:
[SUHK-uh-tash] This southern United States favorite is a cooked dish of lima beans, corn kernels and sometimes chopped red and green sweet peppers. The name is taken from the Naragansett Indian word msickquatash, "boiled whole kernels of corn."
